Queen of the Hills

Showcasing why Mussoorie is one of the most popular hill stations in India
A Britisher, Captain Frederick Young, accompanied by an official named FJ Shore, had climbed up the hill from the Doon valley in 1827 and found this ridge offering great views and a salubrious climate. This visit laid the foundation for this grand hill station. A captivating paradise for leisure travelers and honeymooners, it is a perfect summer resort.

A dip at kempty falls and ropeway-

Milky streams of water falling from 41 ft presents a glorious view that will make you excited to take a plunge in the open pool where water from the fall gets collected. The icy water can give you chills, but that makes it more thrilling. The panoramic view of the Dehradun Mussoorie trail through the ropeway will bring a twinkle to your eyes.

Cloud’s End

As the name suggests, Cloud’s End is the geographical end of Mussoorie hill station. Once you reach there, you won’t look below the thick cover of clouds and fog. Aglar River Valley glows under the red-yellow hue of the sun, creating a very angelic halo around the place. It is quite a picturesque backdrop for a photoshoot.

Mall road

Romancing at the garden

With more than 850 flowering plants, a fountain on the lawn, and a greenhouse nursery, the Company garden is the destination that will fill your life with abundant colours. It could also be an ideal spot for a perfect date where you can take your partner to the artificial mini-lake with paddleboats taking in the telescopic view of the mountains, a stroll in the garden as you whisper sweet nothings in their ear. Then you can end your date at the—food court, where they serve mouth-watering food and snacks.

Birdwatching and a close visit to wildlife

The wildlife sanctuary is part of the Rajaji National Park; this sanctuary is well known for its varieties of rare and indigenous bird species. Home to endangered mountain quails, the red-billed blue magpie, and the white-capped water redstart, this sanctuary is ideal for a refreshing walk for nature lovers as it hosts old-cedar trees, pine trees, and other medicinal plants.

Breezy air of the misty lake

The serene, emerald green Lake Mist is located about 10kms from Mussoorie on the road to Kempty Falls. Surrounded by mountain streams and natural waterfalls, The lush forest setting adds to the lake’s secluded charm. Lake mist is a great picnic spot to spend some quality time away from the city buzz.
