A story about the visit to the major city of Turkey

If you like watching television dramas, you must have stumbled upon a snippet from Turkish dramas on YouTube or Instagram. Turkish hot hunks and gorgeous ladies have made loads of eyes turn. Their over-the-top dramatic rom coms featuring beautiful Turkish lives have played a significant role in spiking curiosity among the foreigners about its culture, art and people.

There is a unique place in turkey that stretches across both sides of the Bosphorus, a narrow strait that connects Asia and Europe, making it the only city in the world spanning two continents. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Istanbul.

Where art meets belief -

Istanbul is a city filled with splendid creations from the hands of us humans that feel unreal. The architectural beauty of these structures seems like divine entities crafted it. The city has a history of ruling empires for centuries. The royal empires have been very generous in spending their resources to build these monuments. One such is Hagia - Sophia where you can witness both Byzantium and Ottoman effects under one dome.

Then you will see the Dolmabahce Palace, the breathtaking Ceremonial Hall, the Crystal Staircase, the secretariat rooms, and the bedroom of Kemal Ataturk, where he spent his final years. The marble stone, carpets, and display of art by various European and Turkish artists will mesmerize you. Art is widely celebrated here. Then comes the blue mosque, with sunrays bouncing off from the intricate blue tile work of the mosque; the full view will have you enchanted by its beauty.

Spaces between us -

Bosphorus Strait is what divides the waterway between Europe and Asia. Just hearing about this incredible fact will fill you with the excitement of visiting this place. Imagine how astonishingly beautiful this is that there are places where two worlds collide, two different parts of the world separated by just a waterway.

Then you will witness the most astounding design of a building supported by 336 columns in 12 rows. The Basilica Cistern is an enormous ancient subterranean cistern located near Blue Mosque in Istanbul. The walkways inside the underground hall are illuminated by warm lights, making it a very seductive ambience.

Shopaholic’s dream destination-

If you want to have some Turkish delights, then your next stop should be the Grand Bazaar. A gigantic shopping place filled with vibrancy, so many colors and overexcited shoppers who can’t decide what to buy and what not to. So many varieties of spices, jewelery, antiques, clothes, silk, ceramics, lamps, towels, and rugs will surely leave you with a bit of dent in your pocket.

Istanbul is a gorgeous country filled with so many colors and vibrancy. There is a certain charm to it which acts as a beacon for tourists all year round!
