Took a pill in Ibiza
As a party getaway Ibiza needs little introduction. It has been at the forefront of Europe’s dance music and clubbing scene for at least 25 years now, and its super-clubs and bars are now legendary. And for my 25th birthday, when I had to choose an international venue to party, like the Vengaboys said it, we are going to Ibiza.
Wild nights were followed by therapeutic days at some jaw-dropping beaches. Along with a walk into the UNESCO-listed Dalt Vila in Ibiza Town, I took a tour of the beautiful whitewashed villages in Ibiza’s quiet and rural interior. All the while the island’s 15 Blue Flag beaches were always just a short detour away.
Playa d’en Bossa
Ibiza’s main resort is right next to the longest beach on the island. On summer days it’s a paradise for the young party crowd. Sleep off the night under a parasol as relaxing, low-tempo music from beachfront DJs wafts over the shore.
After dark and until the sun comes up it’s a party central, with two of Ibiza’s largest clubs, Ushuaia and Space right in the resort.
If you can work up the energy jet skis and paddleboats can be hired next to the beach, and there a load of places to pick up food when you get hungry.
Ibiza on a quad ATV
Starting the adventure in Playa d'en bossa, passing by a Valley, one of the most beautiful landscape I saw in Ibiza. Our 1st stop was at Sant Josep de Sa Talaia. Then we went on to discover the small villages that allowed us to enjoy the authentic taste of the countryside. We made a stop at a small beach in Sant Antoni de Portmany, took some Instagram-worthy pictures.
Discovering the best corners of the island in paddle surf
The beach is selected according to the direction of the wind and waves, so it was a surprise for us as they never visit the same place. It all depends on the weather but it’s always about visiting the quietest and most beautiful places in Ibiza. On the beach they prepare and deliver all the necessary material for the activity and after a brief safety class and handling of the board, we were ready to go to the water to start what would be the best day of my trip. The excursions were about 2 hours. During the excursion we visited several points of the coast, we contemplated cliffs, we entered different caves. We even jumped off cliffs for that adrenaline rush.
Excursion to Isla Margarita by Jet Ski From San Antonio
Isla Margarita has a characteristic structure due to its arch, as we got closer we could see the other peculiarities that made this island one of the most beautiful in Ibiza. It is an island highly appreciated by divers due to its fantastic seabeds. Located in one of the few virgin and wild areas of the island of Ibiza. The crystal clear water and its strange rock formations make it a magical place. The Tour to Isla Margarita by Jet Ski was spectacular not only because of the magical Island, but also because on the way, we crossed incredible coves such as Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta. We took a short rest stop, where we could snorkel in an area of crystal clear waters and take some amazing pictures.
My Birthday was such a memorable experience everything included. Right from partying all night, to the snorkeling experience. Ibiza was one of the most beautiful places I ever visited. So when are you planning to take a trip to Ibiza for your next birthday?
